Chandler Jones is a songwriter and multidisciplinary artist born in Florence, Alabama. His father started his songwriting career at Fame Recording Studios in Muscle Shoals and his mother taught biology at the community college. Shaped by the rich musical legacy of Muscle Shoals and the natural landscape of the American South, his work blends cinematic composition with deeply rooted storytelling. Drawing on themes of mysticism, Southern folklore, and personal transformation, Jones creates immersive sonic worlds that feel both intimate and expansive.

His debut album, The Velvet Hour (2020), was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, and produced by Juan Solorzano. The record received praise from NPR Music critic Ann Powers for its evocative atmosphere and emotional depth. Jones’s follow-up album, Snake Mountain, is set for release in January 2027 via Well Kept Secret.

In addition to his music, Jones is the founder and curator of Room 412, an experimental gallery space in downtown Birmingham, Alabama. Through exhibitions, performances, and community gatherings, Room 412 serves as a platform for local and regional artists, fostering connection and creative exchange within the city’s arts scene.
